Terms of Service

Last updated:

These terms cover your website purchase and any add-ons from [BUSINESS NAME]. By submitting the details form after your purchase, you agree to them.

Your website

Your website itself is a one-off purchase, bought and paid for through eBay, which has its own buyer terms and protections that apply to that transaction. Once you submit your business details and chosen design here, we'll build and set up your site using the information you've given us. We aim to have it ready within a reasonable time of receiving your details, but exact timing can depend on how much back-and-forth is needed to get your content right.

Trying a design live

The "try it live" links on the gallery show the real, working template — but in a read-only preview mode. Nothing you do there (messages, form submissions, edits) is saved or sent anywhere. It's there so you can properly judge the design before choosing it, not a live version of your own future site.

Add-ons

Hosting and business email are optional, billed monthly through PayPal as a subscription — set up and managed entirely within your own PayPal account. Domain registration is billed the same way but annually: your first year is £10.99, and it renews automatically every year after at the same price to keep the domain registered in your name. You can cancel any of these at any time directly through PayPal; if you cancel hosting, your site will stop being served once the current billing period ends, and if you cancel the domain subscription, the domain will lapse at the end of the year it's already paid for.

Refunds

Your website purchase is covered by eBay's own buyer protection, since that's where the payment was made. Add-on subscriptions can be cancelled at any time going forward, but payments already taken for the current billing period aren't refunded except at our discretion.

What we don't guarantee

We build and host your site to a professional standard, but — as with any hosting service — we can't guarantee it will be online with zero interruption, or that it will suit every possible future need of your business. We're not liable for losses arising from downtime, third-party services (like PayPal or your domain registrar) being unavailable, or content you've provided us that turns out to be inaccurate.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we'll update this page. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
